LIFT Manufacturer's Limited Warranty
Effective Date
This warranty is effective from the date the device is placed into service.
Coverage
Lifetime – Structural components including the sling, platform assembly, car enclosure, sub-frame, rail brackets and pit steel.
5 Years – Major components including the pump unit (Consisting of the tank, motor, valve and pump), controller, swing door assemblies , interlocks, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic hose, sheave block assembly, hoist ropes and shackles, operating devices such as limit switches, pushbutton assemblies and key switches.
This warranty applies to the repair or replacement, at the Manufacturer’s option, of parts that fail due to defective material or workmanship. The Manufacturer may, at its option, provide factory reconditioned parts. This warranty is provided to the Authorized Niagara Belco Dealer on behalf of the final purchaser of the product and is not transferable. The Manufacturer’s warranty does not cover labour charges associated with the removal, repair or replacement of warranty parts or components.
Conditions
This warranty applies only to products installed and regularly maintained by a Niagara Belco Authorized Dealer in conform ance with all applicable code requirements and in accordance with the recommendations contained in the Installation Manual. It is the owner’s responsibility to retain records of such service and maintenance during the warranty period.
This warranty does not apply to the following:
• Consumable items or items subject to normal wear and which include: light bulbs, batteries, fuses, factory supplied car flooring, door assembly weather seals (where provided), hydraulic fluids, greases and oils.
• Malfunction or damage to product caused by accident, misuse, abuse or vandalism, lack of proper maintenance, unauthorized modification or alteration, structural condition of building or hoistway, overloading, or failure to follow operating instructions.
• Premature wear or corrosion of assemblies or components installed in damp location or subjected to unusual or extreme atmospheric or environmental conditions including exposure to chemical or airborne contaminants.
